Continuing the mobile game sales trend, PUBG Mobile is once again making headlines as the Battle Royale shooter reached $5.1 billion in lifetime player spending. According to Sensor Tower, $2.7 billion was accumulated within 2020 alone.
If that wasn't enough to convince you that mobile games are thriving, a new report by App Annie revealed the mobile game market hit $22 billion in Q1 of 2021. This is a 30 percent increase from the same quarter last year. Including everything in the mobile digital market world, both Google Play and iOS saw a 40% increase year-to-year and consumer spending hit $32 billion in 2021. Pandemics and restrictive lockdowns are likely to have helped this surge.

Zombies Return to Call of Duty: Mobile
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Mobile continues on strong and a new blog post detailing upcoming content reveals the return of the fan-favorite zombies mode. The original zombies map, Shi No Numa, will first launch in the Chinese version of the game while the rest of the world will get a new zombies "experience" later this year. Other updates include a new public test build focused on weapon balance, an update to the credit store, the continuation of the Pursuit Event and plenty more.

Baseball SuperStars 2021, the baseball simulator with RPG elements, is now updated to its latest version with a new season that includes a Live Global PvP mode that allows players to challenge rivals from around the world.
Pokemon GO launched its new referral program that allows current trainers to invite new players or players who haven't played within the last 90 days. The more both trainers play, the more rewards are earned.
Marvel Contest of Champions is bringing yet another mighty character into the mix. The God of Gods, Odin, is making his debut in the version 30.1 update.
